Loved every minute of Crime Bake 2013, which — sniff — is now over. You can see that my photos were not stellar … I was usually trying to scribble or type, then hurriedly snapping a picture with my cell phone … but I knew there would be professional ones soon from Crime Bake’s photographer Mo Walsh. Meanwhile, shown here are authors Kate Flora and William Martin; Kate moderated the panel that also included (hidden between the two of them here) guest of honor Meg Gardiner and beloved Boston author Linda Barnes.
Today’s morning events included the announcement of the 2014 guest of honor: Craig Johnson. Wow! Crime Bake always surprises and delights me. A huge thank-you to all the committee members, volunteers, panelists, authors, and fans who make it a thrill for me, among 300 others. And here’s to the enjoyable work of getting next year’s conference underway … after a short break to catch up on sleep and silence!
I second Beth! Thanks to everyone who made it such a success.
It was a great time and I can’t wait for next year.
Maureen
It was such a wonderful time. Thanks for being so helpful and showing a “newbie” Crime Baker the ropes! Looking forward (already!) to next year.
