Congratulations to Kate Flora, the  2013 Maine Literary Awards winner for Crime Fiction. (Redemption). Kate beat out some serious competition to be named the award winner May 31. Published by Five Star, “Redemption” is set in Portland, and is part of Kate’s Joe Burgess series.

Congratulations, Kate!

Last week on Pen, Ink & Crimes, Beth Kanell began to wrap up her YA Mysteries: Beginning, Middle and End series with the first edition of the End.

If you have some good news to share with your fellow Sisters in Crime New England, add it to the comments on this post and we’ll get it in next week. If you’d like to blog — either as a guest or on a regular basis, content me (Maureen Milliken) or Julie Hennrikus.
